VISION
The Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges - College Red Cross Youth Council (CSPC-CRCYC) will be the foremost humanitarian organization in the college and in the community, in services provided and number of people served, as it brings timely, effective and compassionate humanitarian assistance for the most vulnerable without consideration of nationality, race, creed, gender, social status or political belief. It also has a vision of training each and every students of CSPC by Red Cross Standards and Principles in order to promote the spirit of humanitarianism, sense of leadership, moral character and camaraderie.
MISSION
To educate the the students in the spirit of Red Cross and provide the opportunities for directing the energy and harnessing their idealism into worthwhile activities within the frame of the organization.
OBJECTIVES
General Objective
To develop among the youth the spirit of humanitarianism and social service by giving them opportunities to participate in relevant Red Cross activities within the framework of the organization.
Specific Objectives
- To provide priority services of the Philippine National Red Cross to the college and to the community as the case may need.
- To develop sense of leadership among students.
- To help people in need without any service fee.
- To promote physical, intellectual and social well-being of the students.
- To develop cooperation and sense of responsibility and camaraderie among members of CSPC-CRCYC.
- To work towards values, information and character building.
- To promote service and solidarity.
- To uphold the protection of life and the promotion of health.
- To promote national and international friendship.
- To disseminate the Red Cross ideals and International Humanitarian Law.
As a youth member of the premiere humanitarian organization, I pledge to alleviate human suffering, protect life and dignity, to be a responsible citizen of the Republic of the Philippines, to conform with the objectives and policies of the Philippine Red Cross, its Seven Fundamental Principles: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality, and to be at all times be in the service for the suffering humanity
