Search for Ambassador and Ambassadress of Goodwill 2011

As an annual activity of the College of Health Care Technology, the WHITES organized an activity displaying the beauty and wits of the students involved in the Search for Ambassador and Ambassadress of Goodwill 2011.

The Search for Ambassador and Ambassadress of Goodwill 2011 was held at the CSPC Auditorium last July 25, 2011 participated by 22 candidates, each student representing a class.

The event was planned and organized by the College of Health Care Technology with the following sponsors: Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges-Red Cross Youth Council (CSPC-RCYC), Philippine Nursing Students Association (PNSA), CSPC-Integrated Midwives Association of the Philippines  (CSPC-IMAP), Tau Gamma Phi (TGP), Alpha Pi Omega (APO), and Caduceus Review Center.

The CSPC-RCYC, as requested by the CHCT department was entrusted with the hall preparation as well as the stage decoration. The RCYC, along with the Tau Gamma Phi, Alpha Pi Omega and IMAP, successfully constructed the stage in accord with the environmental theme planned by the CHCT.

Other events prior to the search were prepared such as the Literary, Music and Dance Competition. Audiences of the Musical competition were the faculty and students.  Dr. Teresita M. Salazar, Vice President for Academic Affairs, was also invited in the said event. By the competition, faculty and student were able to relax and unwind as they were entertained by singers and dancers. Vocal Solo and Vocal Duet were the main event for the singing competition and Modern dancing for the Dance Competition.

After the LitMusDa (Literary, Music and Dance) was the Search for Ambassador and Ambassadress of Goodwill 2011. The pageant started at 5:00 in the afternoon with the entrance of the candidates on their production number. This was followed by the fashion attire wherein the candidates displayed their tastes in conventionalism. The candidates also exhibit their character as student nurses as they walk through the stage in their clinical uniforms. The Question and Answer portion took place wherein the candidates wore their proper uniforms and answered the questions formulated by the judges. After which, the candidates flaunted their long gowns and barong tagalong as they carried it with beauty and grace.

Winners were announced after the grades of the candidates were computed. Crowned Mr. and Ms. PHCP, Jons Jacob Turiano and Jo Darlene Bautista; Mr. and Ms. RCYC, by the judges. After which, the candidates flaunted their long gowns and barong tagalong as they carried it with beauty and grace. Adrian Paul G. Filio VII and Moneck S. Cortez; Mr and Ms. PNSA, Ryan Roldan and Kim Caceres; and hailed Ambassador and Ambassadress  of Goodwill 2011 were Kristoffer P. Obogne and Arriane Blanco.

The event ended with the picture taking together with the candidates and aftercare of the said event.
