The President and Secretary of the CSPC-RCYC deep in thought.

The 2011 Student Development Program for all Student Leaders of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges took place at the CSPC Auditorium last June 29, 2011 from 8 AM to 5 PM through the generous initiation of the Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Administration. The activity was geared with the general Theme: “Meeting the Challenges of Managing Student Affairs and Student Organizations through Creativity and Innovation.”

Mr. Alvin Franco A. Agtarap, one of the advisers of the CSPC-RCYC listens to the informative talks.

The morning half of the program was composed generally of talks and speeches from Professor Glenn M. Narvaez, the guest speaker of the occasion, wherein he imparted his knowledge about Organization Management and gave several tips to solve various problems commonly encountered by Campus Organizations. An open forum was also done after the short talk of the College President, Dr. Dulce F. Atian. The ever versatile and amiable college president answered the questions pronounced by the student body regarding the concerns of their respective organizations, leaving a hopeful promise of helping the Organizations achieve their goals through 'partnership between the student body/organizations and the administration'.

The afternoon half of the program was composed of workshops wherein the students were instructed to enumerate their views about the Administration. The Student Affairs Moderator of the College, Dr. Jose Ariel R. Ibarrientos, also facilitated the students’ presentation of the strengths of the Administration along with their areas of concern and recommendation for improvement. Another activity followed shortly, which was the Action Plan-Making. Student leaders were asked to make Plans of Action which will serve as the guide of their organization in enacting various activities for one academic year.

The activity ended with the acknowledgement from Dr. Jose Ariel Ibarrientos to all student leaders who attended the said event.
